Conception of development and support of tourism in the Šumperk area for years 2006 - 2010

Abstract:

Diplomová práce řeší problematiku cestovního ruchu obecně a konkrétní podobu podpory rozvoje cestovního ruchu a hlavní úkoly města Šumperka. Hlavním cílem je na základě teoretických poznatků z oblasti marketingu, výsledků SWOT analýzy, obecného hodnocení potenciálu cestovního ruchu na Šumpersku a osobních zkušeností definovat strategický cíl rozvoje cestovního ruchu. Formulovat dlouhodobé a krátkodobé cíle, způsob jejich realizace, míru podpory města. Navržená opatření by měla přispět ke zkvalitnění komunikace mezi veřejnou správou, provozovateli služeb z oblasti cestovního ruchu a obyvateli města. Hlavním cílem všech opatření by mělo být především zviditelnění města a vytvoření podmínek pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu.

Abstract:

This diploma work focuses on the issue of tourism in general, on specific ways of supporting the development of tourism, and on the main tasks of the town of Šumperk in this field. Arising from theoretical knowledge of marketing, results of the SWOT analysis, general evaluation of the tourism potential of the Šumperk area, as well as from personal experience, the main object of the work is to define a strategic goal for the development of tourism. It also attempts to formulate short - and long term objectives, methods of their realization, extent of municipality support. The proposed measures should contribute to improving the quality of communication among public administration, providers of tourism services and the town´s citizens. All measures should principally aim at marketing the town visible and creating conditions for the development of tourism.
