Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je na základě analýzy zhodnotit současné povědomí o problematice age managementu mezi staršími pracovníky a identifikace jejich postojů vůči uplatňování principů age managementu ve firemním prostředí. Teoretická část práce se věnuje popisu východisek pro uplatňování age managementu, kterými jsou stárnutí populace, demografická situace a prognózy budoucího vývoje, soužití různých generací na trhu práce a charakteristika starších pracovníků. Dále představení samotného konceptu age managementu a možností jeho uplatnění v organizaci, včetně představení problematiky pracovní schopnosti. Součástí diplomové práce je kvantitativní empirické šetření realizované pomocí dotazníkového šetření, které se zabývá výzkumem uplatňování principů age managementu v souvislosti se zkušenostmi a postoji starších pracovníků vůči této problematice. Dále se práce věnuje samotnému vyhodnocení výsledků vlastního výzkumu, testování hypotéz a diskusi, ve které se autor snaží nalézt odpověď na předem stanovené výzkumné otázky. Závěrem jsou také zmíněna doporučení autora pro firemní praxi v oblasti HR managementu.

Abstract:

Based on the analysis, the aim of this thesis is to evaluate the current awareness of age management issues among older workers and to identify their attitudes towards the application of age management principles in the corporate environment. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to describing the starting points for the application of age management, which are the aging of the population, demographic situation and forecasts of future development, coexistence of different generations on the labour market and characteristics of older workers. Furthermore, presentation of the concept of age management itself and the possibilities of its application in the organization, including presentation of the issue of working ability. The thesis includes a quantitative empirical survey carried out by means of a questionnaire survey, which deals with research on the application of age management principles in relation to the experience and attitudes of older workers towards this issue. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the evaluation of the results of own research, testing of hypotheses and discussion, in which the author tries to find an answer to pre-determined research questions. Finally, the author's recommendations for corporate practice in the field of HR management are also mentioned.
