Issues of disciplin at primary schools

Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma Problematika kázně na základních školách se skládá ze dvou částí. Teoretická část se zabývá vymezením základních pojmů a definic, které se řadí do tohoto tématu. Dále je práce zaměřena na projevy nekázně a zvláštní kapitola je věnována šikaně, jakožto jednomu z nejhorších projevů agresivity. V další kapitole jsou upřesněny pojmy agrese a agresivity a jejího dělení. V následující části jsou uvedeny příčiny nekázně a následná možná východiska. Závěr teoretické části mé diplomové práce je věnován nejčastějším kázeňským prostředkům, které uvádí významní odborníci. Druhá část empirická je založena na dotazníkovém šetření na základních školách v Odrách, v Brně a ve Zlíně. Cílem je srovnat názory dětí a učitelů na již předem zmíněných školách a dozvědět se, jak nahlíží na problematiku nekázně v dnešní době.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is titled “Issues of Discipline at Primary Schools”; it consists of two parts. The theoretical part deals with specification of basic terms and definitions which belong to this topic. The thesis also concentrates on displays of undisciplined behavior, and there is a special chapter aimed on bullying, which is one of the worst displays of aggression. In the next chapter, there are specified terms such as “aggression” and “aggressiveness and its division.” In the following part, there are specified causes of theundisciplined behavior and possible solutions. The end of the theoretical part of my diploma thesis is devoted the most frequent disciplinary means which are named by significant experts. The second part, which is empirical, is based on a questionnaire survey at the primary schools in Odry, Brno, and Zlín. The main aim is to compare children’s and teacher’s opinions to find out what their opinions about issues of undisciplined behaviorin today’s world are.
