This Bachelor's diploma thesis deals with the comparison of the frequency and the translation of the idioms with a specialization on the Czech and French idioms which contain an eye or a nose. Abstract:
Práce se zabývá frekvencí a překladem českých a francouzských idiomů se zaměřením na ty, které obsahují oko a nos. Součástí práce je teoretická část zabývající se lingvistickou stránkou idiomu, druhou část práce tvoří samotný výzkum v korpusech. Cílem práce je zjištění frekventovanosti daných idiomů podle literárních žánrů a porovnání jejich francouzských a českých překladů.
