Práce se zabývá charakteristikou Společné bezpečnostní a obrané politiky EU. První část je věnována vývoji a popisu struktur a institucí. Dále se zmiňuje o změnách, které proběhly přijetím Lisabonské smlouvy. V druhé části se zabývá vztahem EU a NATO a současně jsou zmíněny postoje dvou globálních velmocí (EU a NATO). The work deals with the characteristics common security and defense policy. The first part is devoted to a description of the structures and institutions. It also mentions about the changes that took place the Lisbon Treaty.
