Methods for Noncontact Monitoring of Shrouded Blades Vibration

Abstract:

Turbíny mají mnohostranné využití. Používají se jako pohonné jednotky v mnoha průmyslových odvětvích, zejména v elektrárenství. Jejich princip je založen na předávání energie proudícího média rotujícím lopatkám. Právě lopatky jsou nejvíce namáhanou součástí turbíny, proto je třeba jejich neustálá kontrola. Stav lopatek je vyhodnocován na základě analýzy jejich kmitů, provedenou měřením času průletu lopatky pod optickým senzorem. Cílem předkládané práce bylo navrhnout jednoduchý a rychlý algoritmus schopný detekovat průlet bandážovaných lopatek a určovat čas jejich průletu. Dalším požadavkem na vyvíjený algoritmus byla jeho schopnost zpracovávat data v reálném čase, neboť by měl být součástí firmwaru zařízení snímajícího napětí na fotodiodě. Tento algoritmus se podařilo navrhnout. Testovací data byla naměřena na 1 MW turbíně s krátkými bandážovanými lopatkami ve zkušebně Škoda Power s.r.o.

Abstract:

Turbines have various kinds of utilisation. They are used as propulsion units in many industries, especially in electrical industry. Their principle is based on the transfer of energy of flowing medium to rotating blades. These blades are the most stressed part of the turbine, so they need permanent supervision. Status of blades is evaluated based on the analysis of vibrations by measuring the time of blade passing near the optical sensor. The aim of this study was to design a simple and fast algorithm able to recognize the shrouded blades passing and to determine the time of the pass. Another requirement on the algorithm was its ability to process data in real time, because of utilisation in firmware as a part of the real device. This algorithm was proposed. Test data were measured at 1 MW turbine with short shrouded blades in Testing department of the company Skoda Power Ltd.
