Outsourcing as a way of processes restructuring in corporations

Abstract:

Předmětem této diplomové práce bylo zmapovat možnosti outsourcingu v oblasti restrukturalizace velkých společností v současném turbulentním prostředí. Důvodem, proč je tato práce zaměřena právě na téma outsourcingu, je šířící se fenomén této metody, se kterou je možné se setkat ve stále větší míře u společností s různým zaměřením. V teoretické části se práce zabývá vymezením a definicí pojmů restrukturalizace a outsourcing a vzájemnou vazbou mezi nimi. Důraz je dále kladen na rozhodovací proces a volbu vhodných procesů k outsourcingu a na samotný outsourcingový projekt a s ním spojená rizika. V praktické části se práce soustředí na aplikaci outsourcingu v rámci restrukturalizace vnitropodnikových procesů u energetické společnosti. Východiskem aplikační části je stanovení cílů restrukturalizace, následná analýza, členění a vyhodnocení vnitropodnikových procesů. Následuje realizace outsourcingového projektu včetně vyhodnocení jeho úspěšnosti po prvním roce spolupráce. Poslední kapitola se zabývá vyhodnocením stanovených hypotéz a cíle samotné práce.

Abstract:

The subject of this thesis was to explore the possibility of outsourcing in the restructuring of corporations in the current turbulent environment. The reason why this work is currently focused on the topic of outsourcing is spreading phenomenon of the method with which it is possible to encounter increasingly in companies with various specializations. In the theoretical part of it deals with the definitions and the terms of restructuring and outsourcing and the interrelations between them. Emphasis is also placed on the decision process and the selection of appropriate processes for outsourcing and the outsourcing project itself and its associated risks. The practical part of the work focuses on the application of outsourcing as part of the restructuring of business processes in the energy companies. The starting point of the application is setting goals of restructuring, subsequent analysis, classification and evaluation of internal processes. The implementation of the outsourcing project follows, including evaluation of its success after the first year of cooperation. The last chapter deals with evaluation of the hypotheses and objectives of the work itself.
