Práce se snaží najít odpovědi na otázku, proč a jakým způsobem ve 20. století krása téměř vymizela z uměleckého světa. The present thesis focuses firstly on the way beauty nearly disappeared completely from the world of art during the 20th century, and secondly on the reasons for this actuality. The very first part of the thesis addresses changes in perception of beauty itself and aesthetics in the course of history.
