Cílem této diplomové práce je porovnat, jak se vybíraly, interpretovaly a hodnotily události z mezinárodních vztahů prostřednictvím oficiálního československého tisku a disentu v letech 1985 až 1989. Zkoumanými tématy budou reformy v SSSR, studená válka, odzbrojovací jednání, evropská integrace, helsinské uvolnění, rozpad sovětského bloku aj. Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to compare how the Czechoslovak press and disent selected and interpreted the events of international relation. Researched topics are reforms in the USSR, the Cold War, disarmament talks, European integration, collapse of the Soviet bloc, etc. From the Czechoslovak press I chose Rudé právo, as the most important newspaper in the country.
