Downův syndrom každoročně postihuje asi 50 novorozenců v České Republice. Jedinci s Downovým syndromem často trpí přidruženými vývojovými vadami a vyznačují se několika charakteristickými znaky, které tvoří jejich typický vzhled. Abstract:
Down syndrome affects yearly approximately 50 newborns in Czech Republic. People with Down syndrome often suffer from affiliated evolutionary handicaps and are distinguished by typical signs, which form their characteristic appearance.
