Return of a Person after Spinal Cord Injury from Institutional Care to Home Care

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na návrat lidí po poranění míchy z instituce domů. Cílem teoretické části je vymezit teoretická východiska práce a objasnit podmínky pro návrat člověka po poranění míchy z institucionální péče do domácí péče. V teoretické části jsou popsána teoretická a metodologická východiska práce, poranění míchy a život člověka po poranění míchy, spinální program v České republice a možné aspekty a formy podpory při návratu domů. Výzkumná část navazuje na teoretické poznatky. Ve výzkumu byla použita kvalitativní výzkumná strategie. Cílem výzkumné části bylo zjistit zkušenosti lidí po poranění míchy v situaci po návratu z institucionální péče do domácí péče.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on people after spinal injuries returning home. Theoretical part determines theoretical bases of the thesis and clears circumstances for home return of person after spinal cord injury from institutional care. In this part, theoretical and metodological foundation is described as well, as life of person after spinal cord injury, spinal program in Czech republic and possible aspects and forms of support after returning home. Research part of this thesis continues in the theme of theoretical part. The target of research part is to explore the experiences of people after spinal cord injury during times of returning home from institutional care.
