External economic orientation of Kazakhstan after 1991 and changes in its sectoral and territorial structure

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je postihnout zásadní změny ve vnější ekonomické orientaci Kazachstánu po rozpadu SSSR v roce 1991 a to v souvislosti s měnící se geopolitickou a geoekonomickou orientací země. Bude analyzován úplný přehled vývoje integračního úsilí Kazachstánu a jeho transformace po roce 1991 od vzniku Společenství Nezávislých Států přes Šanghajskou organizaci pro spolupráci až po členství v Euroasijské ekonomické svazu. K tomu bude potřeba také prostudovat časový vývoj komoditní struktury exportu a importu ve světle nejdůležitějších makroekonomických ukazatelů, případovou studie vlivu ropného a plynárenského průmyslu na socioekonomický rozvoj západního regionu Republiky Kazachstán a strukturu přímých zahraničních investic v zemi.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to affect fundamental changes in the external economic orientation of Kazakhstan after the collapse of the USSR in 1991, in connection with the changing geopolitical and geoeconomic orientation of the country. A full overview of the development of Kazakhstan's integration efforts and its post-1991 transformation from the establishment of the Commonwealth of Independent States through the Shanghai Cooperation Organization to membership in the Eurasian Economic Union will be analyzed. For this, it will also be necessary to study the temporal development of the commodity structure of export and import in the light of the most important macroeconomic indicators, a case study of the influence of the oil and gas industry on the socio-economic development of the western region of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the structure of foreign direct investment in the country.
