Cílem praktické části bakalářské práce bylo zjistit, jak prožívají pacienti období před transplantací, tj. období, kdy jsou na waiting listině, a dále pak jak, kde a kým byli informování o zákroku, který jim bude proveden. Praktická část je vytvořena na základě analýzy z výsledků dotazníkového šetření provedeného u pacientů na waiting listině registrovaných v kardiochirurgickém centru v Brně. U pacientů bylo také provedeno zkoumání kvalitativně pomocí rozhovoru.

The aim of the practical part of this thesis was to investigate how patients experience the period before transplantation, ie. the period when they are on the waiting list and then how, where and by whom they were informed about the procedure, which will be carried out. The practical part is created based on the analysis of the results of the survey conducted in patients on waiting list registered in the cardiosurgery center in Brno. Patients were also conducted by using qualitative interview exploration.
