Significant connotation of color hues

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaobírá tématem "Významová konotace barevných odstínů", v teoretické části se zabývám pojmy jako jsou barva, barevný vjem, dále pak psychofyziologie základu barevného vidění, kde se rozepisuji k barevným počitkům, rozlišováním barev a také k barvosleposti. Další kapitola je věnována barvě v psychologii, kde je popsáno psychofyziologické působení barev, význam barev ve snech a také synestézie. V dalších kapitolách popisuji charakteristiku barev a některé barvové testy. Teoretická část mé diplomové práce je završena emocemi, fyziologií emocí a jak barvy působí na naše emoce. Praktická část diplomové práce je věnována mému průzkumu týkajícího se zjištění ve vnímání osmi barev podle Maxe Lüschera, za pomoci sémantického diferenciálu dle Charlese E. Osgooda. V průzkumu se budu věnovat zkoumání všech osmi Lüscherových barev skrze hodnocení osmnácti bipolárních adjektiv mezi 111 respondenty, a to mezi 57 ženami a 54 muži.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the theme of " Significant connotation of color hues". The next chapter is devoted to the color in psychology, which describes the psychophysiological effect of colors, the meaning of colors in dreams and also synesthesia. In the following chapters I describe color characteristics and some color tests. The theoretical part of my thesis is completed by emotions, physiology of emotions and how colors affect our emotions. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to my research on the findings in the perception of eight colors by Max Lüscher, using the semantic differential according to Charles E. Osgood. In the survey, I will explore all eight Lüscher colors through the evaluation of eighteen bipolar adjectives among 111 respondents, between 57 women and 54 men.
