Implementation of a scripting interface for document filling automation

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje rozšíření backendové části systému Legito o funkcionalitu skriptovacího rozhraní. Systém Legito slouží ke správě a automatizaci tvorby komplexních dokumentů. Cílem skriptovacího rozhraní je rozšířit možnosti automatizace tvorby dokumentů o nástroj, který dovoluje uživatelům psát jednoduché skripty, pomocí kterých je možné automaticky vyplňovat části dokumentu, nebo komunikovat s externími systémy pomocí REST API. Toho je dosaženo podrobně zdokumentovanými funkcemi, mezi kterými je primárně vytváření požadavků na externí REST API a vyhledávání, čtení a vkládání hodnot do libovolných elementů v dokumentu.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on expanding the backend part of the system Legito with scripting interface functionality. Legito is used to manage and automate the creation of complex documents. The goal of the scripting interface is to extend the automation capabilities of document creation with a tool that allows users to write simple scripts that can be used to automatically populate parts of a document or communicate with external systems using a REST API. This is accomplished through well-documented functions, primarily including making requests to external REST APIs and searching, reading, and inserting values into any elements in a document.
