Cílem této práce bylo shromáždit informace o moderních obalových technologiích. Bakalářská práce popisuje aktivní a inteligentní obaly jako dva hlavní trendy vývoje obalových technologií. Z dostupné literatury byly získávány informace o principech, funkcích a komerčním využití jednotlivých typů obalů. Do bakalářské práce byly zařazeny i komerční názvy výrobků a jejich výrobci.
