Analysis of deviations in profit development

Abstract:

Teoretická část se zaobírá především představením faktorů, které ovlivňují výši zisku ve společnostech a způsoby výpočtu odchylek skutečných hodnot od předem plánovaných. Praktická část vychází z dat reálné společnosti ZETOR TRACTORS a.s. a jejich účetních závěrek za roky 2017 a 2018. Provádí se zde porovnání zisku vzhledem k vývoji v čase. Vypočtené dílčí odchylky zisku jsou následně analyzovány za pomoci informací z příloh účetních závěrek a výročních zpráv společnosti a díky těmto informacím je vznik každé jednotlivé odchylky řádně okomentován a odůvodněn.

Abstract:

The theoretical part analyzes mainly factors that affect the amount of profit in companies and methods of calculating deviations from actual pre-planned values. The practical part is based on data from the real company ZETOR TRACTORS a.s. and their financial statements for the years 2017 and 2018. A comparison of profit with respect to the development over time is performed here. The calculated partial deviations of profit are then analyzed with the help of information from the annexes to the financial statements and annual reports of the company, and thanks to this information, the occurrence of each individual deviation is sufficiently explained and justified.
