Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou fondů kvalifikovaných investorů v České repub-lice. V práci je popsán právní rámec upravující fungování těchto fondů a celého kapitálového trhu. Dále je pozornost upřena na hedgeové fondy, jakožto na obdobu fondů kvalifikovaných investorů v USA a na celý kapitálový trh v USA včetně tamní legislativy. The thesis aims to introduce the funds of qualified investors (QIF) in the Czech Re-public and their US alternative – hedge funds. It describes the legal framework governing how these funds function, as well as the legislative of the capital market related to them.
