Tato práce představuje stručný přehled o činnosti Státní veterinární správy České republiky a o její organizační struktuře. Činnost Státní veterinární správy je velice rozsáhlá, proto se práce věnuje podrobněji spíše obecně a mediálně známějším věcem.
