Development of congress activities in a new CPI hotel

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na činnost nových hotelů Clarion společnosti CPI Hotels, a.s. se zaměřením na kongresovou činnost. Konkrétně prvnímu a největšímu ze skupiny hotelů CPI - hotelu Clarion Congress Hotel Prague v Praze Vysočanech. V rozvoji kongresového cestovního ruchu došlo v posledních letech k útlumu. Následkem této situace vzniká velký konkurenční tlak mezi stávajícími kongresovými objekty v Praze. Cílem bakalářské práce je na základě výsledků provedených analýz identifikovat potencionální možnosti a rezervy hotelu Clarion Congress Hotel Prague na poli kongresové činnosti a navrhnout optimalizaci jeho marketingového mixu.

Abstract:

The bachelor´s dissertation is focused on activities of new hotels Clarion owned by company CPI Hotels, a.s., directed on congress acitivities. Specifically to the first and the biggest congress hotel of CPI hotels - Clarion Congress Hotel Prague in Prague Vysočany. In the last few years the development of congress tourism slowed down. The result of this situation is a big competitive pressure between existing congress facilities in Prague. The aim of this thesis is on the basis of analysis results to indentify potential options and reserves of Clarion Congress Hotel Prague in his congress activities and to suggest an optimization of his marketing mix.
