Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o aktivitách, které podněcují dospívající žáky k vyšší aktivitě a o aktivitách, které naopak dokážou žáky zklidnit a přimět je k soustředěné činnosti a učení. Dále se zaměřuje na šetření, zda jsou tyto aktivity využívány na 2. stupni základních škol, do jaké míry mohou ovlivnit soustředění žáků během vyučování a jakým způsobem přispívají k plynulé a vyvážené hodině. Teoretická část definuje dospívajícího žáka a prezentuje bližší klasifikaci použitých aktivit. Empirická část je věnována vykreslení vlastních praktických zkušeností autorky s těmito aktivitami a také je zaměřena na využití aplikovaných aktivit učiteli anglického jazyka na 2. stupni základních škol.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis approaches the topic of stirring and settling activities in teenage classes and it presents them as an important part of the teaching and learning process. Furthermore, the thesis aims to investigate whether these activities are exploited at Czech upper-primary schools and to what extent they can influence channelling pupils’ energy, and also how they contribute to the smooth and balanced flow of the lesson. The theoretical part provides a definition of a teenager as a language learner and it presents a classification of stirring and settling activities. The empirical part is divided into two parts. The first deals with the author’s practical experience with stirring and settling activities, and the second part is centred on the use of the above mentioned activities by English language teachers at upper-primary schools.
