Evaluation of the management of ungulates and state hunting leases within the ORP Jeseník, Šumperk, Zábřeh and Mohelnice

Abstract:

V rámci sledovaného území ORP Šumperk, Jeseník, Zábřeh a Mohelnice, byla provedena analýza vybraných druhů spárkaté zvěře v letech 2006 – 2021 za účelem zjištění vhodnosti uplatňovaného managementu jejich populací. Vybranými druhy spárkaté zvěře byly jelen evropský, srnec obecný, daněk skvrnitý, muflon obecný, prase divoké a kamzík horský. U jednotlivých druhů se hodnotila celková výše odlovu a sčítaných stavů, struktura lovu populace a lov v rámci jednotlivých ORP. Při vyhodnocování výsledků byla v případě managementu jelena evropského a daňka skvrnitého použita metoda pro výpočet správnosti prováděného odlovu a sčítání zvěře. Z výsledků bylo patrné, že myslivecká statistika v letech 2006 – 2021 neodpovídá reálnému stavu prostředí. Další částí bylo srovnání nájemních období 2003 – 2013 a 2013 – 2023 pro honitby v držení Lesů ČR, s.p., Na základě změny pronajímatelů se potvrdila závislost ceny nájemného na výskytu atraktivní trofejové zvěře.

Abstract:

Within the monitored territory of the Administrative Districts of Šumperk, Jeseník, Zábřeh, and Mohelnice, an analysis of selected species of ungulates was conducted for the years 2006 to 2021 to determine the suitability of the applied management of their populations. The selected species of ungulates included European red deer, roe deer, fallow deer, European mouflon, wild boar, and chamois. For each species, the total amount of hunting and counted populations, population hunting structure, and hunting within individual Administrative Districts were evaluated. When evaluating the results, a method for calculating the accuracy of conducted hunting and counting of game was used in the case of European red deer and fallow deer management. The results showed that hunting statistics from 2006 to 2021 do not correspond to the real state of the environment. The next part involved comparing the lease periods of 2003 – 2013 and 2013 – 2023 for hunting grounds held by Lesy ČR, s.p. Based on the change of landlords, the dependence of the lease price on the occurrence of attractive trophy game was confirmed.
