Topic - Nursing, Does today´s young have fear of the HIV infection ?

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na zjištění strachu mládeže z HIV infekce. Hlavním cílem je zjistit teoretické znalosti adolescentů o HIV, dále zhodnocení subjektivního postoje k problematice HIV a určení míry prevence a teoretické znalosti s tím spojené. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí teoretické a praktické. První část je věnována období pubescence, neboť právě na tuto věkovou skupinu osob je zaměřena moje práce. Dále se zde zabývám již samotnou infekcí HIV, kde jsem se zaměřila na historii, charakteristiku, klinické příznaky a léčbu a samozřejmě na způsob přenosu. V praktické části jsem realizovala výzkum pomocí nestandardizovaného dotazníku. Cílem bylo zjistit, jaké teoretické znalosti mají mladí lidé ohledně problematiky HIV, zda ví, jak se před nákazou chránit a zkoumala jsem i jejich názor a postoj k danému tématu. Velmi ráda bych touto prací přispěla k lepší informovanosti mládeže v problematice HIV a poukázala na to, že edukace v tomto směru není dostatečná.

Abstract:

My Bachelor thesis is focused on finding the potential fear of youth from HIV infection. The main objective is to determine the theoretical knowledge of adolescents about HIV, than evaluation of subjective attitudes of HIV problematics and also determine the needed level of prevention and theoretical knowledge with it associated. The thesis consists of two parts theoretical and practical. The first part of thesis is dealing with the period of adolescence, because with this period of life and with people, who are at this age I am working and focusing this thesis to. Furthermore, i am also already dealing with HIV disease itself, where i have focused on the history, characteristics, clinical symptoms and treatment and of course the possibilities of transmission. In the practical part of this thesis i have done a research using the questionnaire unstandardized method. The aim was to find out the theoretical knowledge of youth on HIV problematics, whether they know how to protect themselves againt the infection and i have also examined their opinion and stance on the topic. I would like to participate with this thesis on improving the knowledge of youth about HIV problematics and also pointed out the fact, that education in this problematics is still not enough.
