Hippotherapy as a supportive method for a child with Down syndrome

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se bude zabývat využitím hipoterapie u dítěte předškolního věku s Downovým syndromem. V teoretické části rozebereme veškeré informace spojené s Downovým syndromem od mentálního postižení, inkluze, nástup dítěte do mateřské školy, vztahu rodiče a dítěte až po hipoterapii. V praktické části bakalářské práce bude využito informací z hipoterapie dítěte k zodpovězení stanovených otázek. Zdrojem informací bude účast a pozorování terapií a rozhovor s rodiči a terapeuty, kteří s dítětem pracovali v průběhu terapií.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis will deal with the use of hippotherapy for preschool child with Down syndrome. In the theoretical part, will be analyzed all the information associated with Down syndrome from mental disability, inclusion, the child's entry into kindergarten, the parent-child relationship to hippotherapy. In the practical part of the bachelor's thesis will be used information from the child's hippotherapy to answer the established hypotheses. The source of information will be participation and observation of therapies and interviews with parents and therapists who worked with the child during therapies.
