Abstract:
This thesis analyses motives of Trickster myth in Neil Gaiman's novel Anansi Boys (2005) and tries to determine, whether an English writer working in America, writing about American characters, uses the North American Indian version of the myth or the African Anansi version, as the title suggests.
Abstract:
Tato práce analyzuje motivy mýtu Šibala v románu Neila Gaimana Anansiho chlapci (2005), a snaží se se zjistit, zdali v Americe působící Britský autor, píšící o postavách pocházejících z Ameriky, ve své knize použil verzi mýtu severoamerických Indiánů, nebo verzi o Africkém Anansi, jak napovídá název.
