Abstract:

Práce analyzuje ekonomiky Norska, Ázerbájdžánu, Venezuely a Kazachstánu. Zjištění naznačují, že v Norsku a Ázerbájdžánu existuje významná přítomnost Nizozemské choroby, přičemž v obou zemích je identifikována Grangerova kauzalita. Norsko však ukázalo, že má dostatečnou obchodní sílu, aby zmírnilo své vlastní účinky Nizozemské choroby regulací svého vývozu. Venezuela byla vyloučena z intenzivní analýzy kvůli nedostatku spolehlivých údajů dostupných po roce 2014 a Kazachstán nevykazoval žádné příznaky Nizozemské choroby přítomné v jeho ekonomice. Všechny země prokázaly určitý stupeň zotavení z nizozemské nemoci a byla navržena další zlepšení.

Abstract:

The thesis analyses the economies of Norway, Azerbaijan, Venezuela and Kazakhstan. The findings suggest that there is a significant presence of the Dutch Disease in Norway and Azerbaijan, with Granger causality being identified within both countries. Nevertheless, Norway has shown to have enough trading power to mitigate its own effects of Dutch Disease through regulation of its exports. Venezuela has been excluded from intensive analysis due to scarcity of reliable data available after 2014, and Kazakhstan has shown no symptoms of the Dutch Disease present within its economy. All of the countries have shown a certain degree of recovery from Dutch Disease, and further improvements have been suggested.
