Specific aspects of bank marketing

Abstract:

The purpose of my bachelor work was to analyze the specific aspects of bank marketing, which is expressed in the bank management itself, in several segments.The main role of the marketing, is to designate the needs, the demands and preferences of the target customer group and satisfy the needs of the bank`s clients in demanded way, which enables to reach the synergic effect with the elements of marketing mix, to improve and stabilise the bank`s position on the financial market. The bachelor work is divided into three chapters. It contains 3 tables and 13 schemes.The first chapter describes the characteristic of bank system and business determinants of commercial banks as a specific business subjects.The second part is dedicated to definition, essence and specifics of bank marketing, followed by the presentation of marketing mix in banking as a main subject of marketing. It contains the definition of the marketing mix, enumeration and characteristic of basic tools of marketing mix in a commercial bank. In the third part are described the present tendencies of bank marketing, and the actual situation in bank sector. It shows the effects of financial crisis on the Slovakian financial market and banking.

Abstract:

Cieľom mojej bakalárskej práce bolo analyzovať špecifické aspekty bankového marketingu, ktorá sa prejavuje v samotnom riadení bánk vo viacerých segmentoch. Hlavnou úlohou marketingu je určiť potreby, požiadavky a preferencie cieľových skupín zákazníkov a v požadovanej miere uspokojiť potreby klientov banky, čo s prvkami marketingového mixu umožňuje dosiahnuť synergický efekt, vylepšenie a upevnenie postavenia banky na finančnom trhu. Bakalárska práca je rozdelená do troch kapitol. Obsahuje 3 tabuľky a 13 schém. Prvá kapitola je venovaná charakteristike bankového systému a determinantom podnikania komerčných bánk, ako špecifickému podnikateľskému subjektu. Druhá časť je venovaná definície a podstate a špecifikám bankového marketingu. Ďalej tu predstavujem marketingový mix v bankovníctve ako hlavný pojem marketingu. Obsahuje definíciu marketingového mixu, vymenovanie a charakteristiku základných nástrojov marketingového mixu v komerčnej banky. V tretej časti uvádzam súčasné trendy marketingu v bankách a charakterizujem aktuálnu situáciu v bankovom sektore. Poukazujem na následky finančnej krízy na slovenský finančný trh a bankovníctvo.
