The thesis is dealing with the development of one of the iron ore mines of Mining and metallurgy company, which has been, in the first half of the 20th century, owned by this company in the territory of Slovakia. Práca sa zaoberá vývojom jednej zo železorudných baní Banskej a hutnej spoločnosti, ktoré v prvej polovici 20. storočia vlastnila na území Slovenska. Sleduje závod Bindt v období konjunktúr a hospodárskych kríz, ako aj v časoch prvej svetovej vojny, ďalej rieši otázku významu závodu nielen pre Banskú a hutnú spoločnosť, ale aj pre región a hlavne jeho obyvateľov a zamestnancov.
