The issue of valuation of the financial instruments in the Czech and global accounting

Abstract:

V diplomové práci jsou popsány standardy, které se vztahují k problematice finančních nástrojů včetně jejich vývoje a jejich porovnání s českými účetními předpisy a to především s předpisy určenými pro podnikatele. V praktické části je pak práce zaměřena jednak na komparaci ocenění a zaúčtování úrokového swapu dle IFRS a české účetní legislativy a dále pak na ocenění a zaúčtování konkrétního účetního případu v podmínkách stávajícího standardu IAS 39 a nového standardu IFRS 9.

Abstract:

The dissertation describes the standards that apply to the financial instruments issue, including their development and their comparison with Czech accounting legislation and regulations designed primarily for businesses.The practical part of the dissertation is focused on a comparison of valuation and accounting of interest rate swap according to IFRS and Czech accounting legislation and then to the awards and the recognition of a particular accounting transaction in terms of the existing standard IAS 39 and the new standard IFRS 9.
