Impacts of euro adoption in the small and medium enterprises sector in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Smyslem této práce je předložit ucelený pohled na malé a střední podniky (MSP), jejich export zboží a služeb s ohledem na budoucí přijetí jednotné měny euro. V první části práce se věnuji aktuální charakteristice sektoru MSP a to především na jejich postavení v ČR s ohledem na jejich konkurenceschopnost. V druhé části své práce analyzuji obecné dopady zavedení eura v sektoru MSP v ČR. Zde zkoumám jakým způsobem se případně bude měnit cenová politika MSP a různé druhy interních a externích komunikačních nástrojů. Ve třetí části se nejdříve věnuji vývoji exportu MSP v ČR. Současně upozorňuji na nutný větší důraz exportu služeb s ohledem na aktuální iniciativy ČR využitelné v oblasti exportu služeb. Podrobněji rozebírám budoucí odstranění kursového rizika s ohledem na jeho výhody. V poslední 4. části analyzuji finanční a ekonomické dopady na export českých MSP po zavedení eura s ohledem na současnou situaci v HMU

Abstract:

The purpose of this work is to produce a comprehensive view of small and medium enterprises (SME), their export of goods and services with regard to adoption of the single Euro currency in future. The first part of the work is devoted to the current characteristics of the SME sector, mainly to the SME position in the Czech Republic with regard to their competitiveness. In the second part I analyse the general impacts of Euro adoption in the SME sector in the Czech Republic. Here I consider the way in which the SME price policy might change and the various types of internal and external communication tools.I devote the third part to the development of the SME export in the Czech Republic first. At the same time I draw attention to a greater emphasis necessary on export of the services with regard to the current initiatives of the Czech Republic applicable in the field of export of the services. I analyse the future elimination of the exchange-rate risk in detail with regard to its advantages. In the last – fourth part I analyse the financial and economic impacts on export of the Czech SME after Euro adoption with regard to the current situation in EMU.
