Art expression in public space and its usage in teaching

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na pojmutí problematiky uměleckého projevu veřejného prostoru a jeho využití ve výuce. Je rozdělena do teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část popisuje sochu jako součást žákova života, jeho výtvarné tvorby a hledá odkazy prostorové tvorby v rámcově vzdělávacím programu. Do této části je zařazen i obecný vhled do způsobů využití sochařského díla ve výtvarném námětu. Praktickou část tvoří vlastní výzkum na téma využití veřejného prostoru města Plzně ve výuce a žákovo pojetí sochy v něm. Dále jsou zde uvedeny návrhy na výtvarné náměty s využitím sochařského díla. Součástí je i písemný záznam realizace navrhnuté výtvarné řady, jež slouží jako příklad práce se sochou.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the issue of artistic expression in public space and its use in teaching. It is divided into theoretical and practical parts. Theoretical part describes sculpture as a part of student´s life and his art work and search for a reference of space art in the general educational program. There is also a general view on the types of use of sculptural art in subject matter. The practical part contains my own research on the usage of public space of Pilsen in teaching and student´s understanding of sculpture. Drafts for subject matters with the usage of sculptural art are mentioned, too. This part also includes a written record of the realization of proposed art series which serves as an example of work with sculpture.
