Is Mariánské Hory a Hulváky shrinking neighbourhood of Ostrava?

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce ?Jsou Mariánské Hory a Hulváky smršťujícím se městským obvodem?? je s využitím vybraných metod (jako např. statistická data, analýzy dokumentů) analyzovat následující tématické oblasti: Historický vývoj daného městského obvodu; Sociodemografická struktura; Podnikatelské prostředí; Rozpočet; Sociokulturní infrastruktura; Fyzická infrastruktura; Technická a dopravní infrastruktura Životní prostředí. A interpretovat získaná data. V rámci každé tématické oblasti je zjišťováno mnoho výzkumných otázek. Cílem práce je zjistit, na základě shromážděných informací a dat, zda je městský obvod Mariánské Hory a Hulváky postižen procesem smršťování. Hlavním indikátorem procesu smršťování je poklesu populace. V souvislosti s úbytkem obyvatel dochází k problémům jako je růst neobydlených domů, úpadek a nedostatečné využívání technické infrastruktury, zmenšování obecních rozpočtů. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na několik částí, na začátku práce se zabývá vymezením pojmu smršťování, v další části se zabývá historickým vývojem obvodu, poté vymezením obvodu a jeho populačním vývojem, dále se zabývá výše uvedenými tématickými oblastmi a v poslední části práce jsou shrnuta zjištěná data a informace.

Abstract:

The aim of my Bachelor´s thesis ?Are Mariánské Hory a Hulváky shrinking town district?? is to analyze with the help of chosen methods (for example: statistical data, document analysis) the following areas: Historical development of given town district, Sociodemografic structure, Entrepreneurial environment, Budget, Social-cultural strukcture, Physical infrastructure, Technical and traffic infrastructure, Environment. And to interpret obtained data. Within the framework of each thematic area it is developed many research questions. The aim of this thesis is to find out, on the base of gathered information and data, if the town district Mariánské Hory a Hulváky is affected by the process of shrinkage. The main indicator of the process of shrinkage is the tendency to the drop in population. In connection with the decrease of population it comes to the problems like the growing of uninhabited houses, the decline and insufficient use of technical infrastructure, the reducing of municipal budget. Bachelor´s thesis is divided into several parts. In the introduction it deals with the formulation of the word ? shrinkage, in the next part it deals with the historical development of the district, then the delimitation of the district and its population development, then it deals with above-mentioned thematic areas and it the last part of the thesis there are the observed data and information.
