V bakalářské práci je charakterizován penzijní systém v České republice. V první řadě je práce soustředěna na klasifikaci penzijního systému, sociální politiky a sociálního zabezpečení. Druhá kapitola je věnována sociálnímu (důchodovému) pojištění. Penzijní připojištění je popsáno v třetí části.
