Availability of housing for young people in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje dostupnosti bydlení z pohledu mladé generace v České republice. Hlavním cílem práce je vyhodnotit pomocí zvolených indikátorů dostupnost bydlení pro mladou generaci. Úvodní kapitoly se zabývají rešerší odborné literatury, ve kterých je rozebrána veřejná správa a problematika bydlení. Praktická část se věnuje analýze bytového fondu a bytového trhu, výši cen nájmů a bytů v jednotlivých městech ČR. Ceny nájmů a ceny bytů jsou porovnány s nástupními platy v jednotlivých krajích a sektorech. Dále je využito dotazníkové šetření zjišťující preference a vnímání problematiky bydlení mladou generací.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on housing availability from the perspective of the young generation in the Czech Republic. The main objective of the thesis is to evaluate the availability of housing for the young generation using selected indicators. The introductory chapters contain the literature research, in which public administration and housing issues are discussed. The practical part is devoted to the analysis of the housing stock and housing market, the level of rents and apartment prices in individual cities of the Czech Republic. Rents and apartment prices are compared with entry salaries in individual regions and sectors. Furthermore, a questionnaire survey is used to determine the preferences and perceptions of the young generation on housing issues.
