Integration of Roma children into schools in socially excluded localities of the Ústí nad Labem region

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá integrací romských dětí do škol v sociálně vyloučených lokalitách Ústeckého kraje. Ačkoliv se podpora romských dětí výrazně rozvinula až po roce 1989, v současnosti již existuje celá řada podpůrných nástrojů, které se celá léta rozšiřují, stále ale přetrvávají problémy se začleňováním romských žáků do systému vzdělávání. Statutární město Most spolu s Ústeckým krajem je problematikou integrace romských dětí do vzdělávání značně zasaženo. Cílem diplomové práce je představení současných nástrojů integrace romských dětí do systému vzdělávání ve statutárním městě Most. Jedním ze záměrů práce je poukázat na nedostatky těchto nástrojů. Dílčím záměrem je navrhnout změny na zlepšení této problematiky.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the integration of roma children into schools in socially excluded localities of the Ústí nad Labem region. Although support for roma children developed significantly only after 1989, there are currently a number of support tools that have been expanding for years, but problems with the integration of roma pupils into the education system still persist. The statutory city of Most, together with the Ústí nad Labem region, is greatly affected by the issue of the integration of roma children into education. The aim of the thesis is to present the current tools for the integration of roma children into the education system in the statutory city of Most. One of the objectives of the work is to point out the shortcomings of these tools. The partial intention is to propose changes to improve this issue.
