Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce bylo vytvořit překlady úředních dokumentů. Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních kapitol. První část pojednává o teorii překladu a funkčních stylech. Kapitola určená překladatelské teorii se zabývá pojmem překlad, druhy překladu, překladatelským procesem, přístupy k překladu a metodami překladu. V části týkající se funkčních stylů je charakterizován styl úředních dokumentů. Druhá hlavní kapitola bakalářské práce je praktická. Podstatná část této kapitoly se věnuje analýzám původních textů a to zejména z hlediska lexikologie, gramatiky a stylu, jejich překladům a komentářům, ve kterých jsou uvedena konkrétní řešení problémů, které nastaly při překládání. Práce je doplněna anglickými tématickými slovníky s českými ekvivalenty, kde jsou uvedena klíčová slova, která byla vybrána z originálních dokumentů.

Abstract:

The main focus of this work was to create translations of official documents. This paper is divided into two main chapters. The first one is dedicated to the translation theory and the functional styles. In the section concerning the theory of translation definition of translation, types of translation, translation process, approaches to translation, and methods of translation are introduced. In the part relating to the functional styles the style of official documents is characterized. The second chapter is the practical one. The substantial parts of this section deal with the analyses of the original texts, in particular, from the lexicological, grammatical and stylistic point of view; its translations and a commentary on the translations showing solutions to specific translating problems. This part is supplemented by thematic English dictionaries with Czech equivalents - glossaries containing word lists of key terms taken from the original texts.
