System of providing leisure activities for residents of a selected city

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na systém zajišťování volnočasových aktivit pro obyvatele měst České Budějovice a Hluboká nad Vltavou v kontextu veřejné správy spolupracující s příspěvkovou organizací Jihočeská centrála cestovního ruchu. Cílem práce je, na základě provedené analýzy, vyhodnotit efektivnost cyklostezky mezi městy České Budějovice a Hluboká nad Vltavou a navrhnout zlepšující doporučení v rámci systému zajišťování volnočasových aktivit pro obyvatele vybraného města. Teoretická část je rozdělena do několika oblastí zabývajících se problematikou veřejného sektoru, cykloturistikou a jejími aspekty a také efektivitou ve veřejné správě. V praktické části je proveden terénní výzkum na cyklostezce a rozhovory s partnery Jihočeské centrály cestovního ruchu, následně je provedena jednoduchá modelace metodou Cost-benefit analýzy. Na základě zjištěných informací jsou následně formulována doporučení pro zlepšení zkoumané problematiky u vybraného subjektu.

Abstract:

The Bachelor's thesis focuses on the system of providing leisure activities for the residents of the cities České Budějovice and Hluboká nad Vltavou in the context of public administration cooperating with the contributory organization South Bohemian Tourist Board. The goal of the thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of the bicycle path between the cities of České Budějovice and Hluboká nad Vltavou based on the conducted analysis and to suggest improvement recommendations within the system of providing leisure activities for the residents of the selected city. The theoretical part is divided into several areas dealing with the issues of the public sector, cycle tourism and its aspects, and also efficiency in public administration. The practical part includes field research on the bicycle path and interviews with partners of the South Bohemian Tourist Board, as well as a simple modeling using the Cost-benefit analysis method. Based on the information found, recommendations are subsequently formulated to improve the examined issues for the selected entity.
