Analysis of the impact of healthcare availability, climatic conditions, and other factors on human lifespan.

Abstract:

Průměrná délka života populace je ovlivněna mnoha faktory. Mezi těmito faktory patří životní prostředí, kvalita a dostupnost lékařských služeb pro populaci, sociální podmínky ve společnosti, kulturní zvyky a nepochybně genetika. Všechny výše uvedené faktory ovlivňují délku života populace v různé míře a zároveň mezi nimi existuje korelace, jinými slovy, vztahy. Avšak mezi danými faktory se nachází jeden, na který jednotlivci mají jen omezený vliv, a to jsou klimatické podmínky. Klimatický faktor zahrnuje parametry, jako jsou například průměrná roční teplota a úroveň znečištění ovzduší, z čehož vyplývá kvalita prostředí, ve kterém lidé žijí. Všechny uvedené faktory mají vliv na vývoj konkrétních onemocnění u populace žijící v daném regionu. Daná práce si klade za cíl stanovit souvislost mezi klimatem a délkou života populace pomocí porovnání průměrných délek života a délek života ve zdravém stavu v zemích, které se nacházejí v různých klimatických zónách. V této práci jsou kontrolovány i další faktory, jako je dostupnost lékařských služeb, které rovněž významně ovlivňují délku života populace. Prostřednictvím analýzy výskytu konkrétních onemocnění v těchto klimatických podmínkách je také možné určit, které klima nejvíce přispívá k vzniku specifických onemocnění, které mohou vést k smrtelným následkům.

Abstract:

The average life expectancy of a population is influenced by numerous factors. Among these factors are the environment, the quality and accessibility of medical services for the population, the social conditions in society, cultural customs, and undoubtedly, genetics. All the aforementioned factors influence population life expectancy to varying degrees, and there exist correlations or relationships between many of them. However, among these factors, there is one over which individual has little control: climatic conditions. The climatic factor encompasses parameters such as average annual temperature, pollution levels, all of which contribute to the quality of the environment in which people reside. All the mentioned factors have an impact on the development of specific diseases within the population residing in a particular region. This study aims to establish a correlation between climate, life expectancy and healthy life expectancy within a population by comparing life expectancies in countries located in different climatic zones, while controlling for other influential factors such as the accessibility of medical services, which also significantly impact the longevity of the population. By analyzing the occurrence of specific diseases in these climatic conditions, it is also possible to determine which climate contributes most to the emergence of diseases that may lead to fatal outcomes.
