Abstract:

Předkládaná práce s názvem "Liberální feminismus Simone de Beauvoir a Betty Friedan - komparativní analýza a kritická reflexe" je zaměřena především na poukázání na nejdůležitější myšlenky těchto autorek, které byly zaznamenány v jejich nejvýznamnějších dílech The Feminine Mystique autorky Betty Friedan a Le Deuxieme Sex autorky Simone de Beauvoir. Tato práce analyzuje jejich zásadní ideje z hlediska několika hlavních témat, jako je vnímání postavení žen ve společnosti nebo vzdělávání, sexualita a zejména jejich navrhovaná řešení těchto sociálních problémů. Pro seznámení čtenáře s předloženými otázkami je nutné uvést na začátku práce základní fakta o druhé vlně feminismu, přínosech a neúspěších. Jedna krátká pasáž této práce se zaměřuje na samotný liberální feminismus, jeho základní myšlenky a charakteristiky, které jsou důležité pro pochopení kontextu celé práce. V následujících kapitolách této práce je nutné podrobit díla autorek analýze, ve které dojde k odhalení jejich pohledu na strukturu patriarchátu a sociální problémy s ním spojené a také objevujeme jejich návrhy, jak tyto problémy patriarchátu a problémy struktury společnosti řešit. V posledních kapitolách práce budou myšlenky těchto autorek srovnávány a podrobeny kritice z dalších rozličných směrů feminismu druhé vlny, či některých jiných autorů, kteří feminismus nezastávají.

Abstract:

The presented work called "Simone de Beauvoir's and Betty Friedan's - A Comparative Analysis and Critical Reflection" is mainly focused on the important ideas of these authors, which were written in their most important works The Feminine Mystique by Betty Friedan and Le Deuxieme Sex. This work analyzes their fundamental ideas in terms of several topics such as their perception of women's status in society or education, sexuality and especially their proposed solutions to these social problems. To familiarize the reader with the submitted issues it is necessary to get acquainted with the basic facts about the second wave of feminism, its benefits and setbacks, in which liberal feminism has split off. One short passage of this work focuses on liberal feminism itself basic ideas and characteristics, which is important for understanding the context of the whole work. In the following chapters, when analyzing the works of the authors, We reveal their view of the structure of patriarchy and the social problems associated with it and We also discover their suggestions on how to resolve the patriarchy problem and problems of the structure of society. In the following chapters, it is necessary to compare the ideas of these authors and to subject them to criticism that flowed from different directions of feminism of the second wave.
