Abstract:
Cílem této práce je analyzovat genderové stereotypy ve vybraných hrách Tennessee Williamse. Práce se zabývá historickým vývojem těchto stereotypů. Pozornost je zaměřena zejména na americký jih, kde sám autor vyrůstal. Práce dále analyzuje genderové stereotypy ve třech Williamsových hrách a je založena zejména na charakteristice jednotlivých postav.Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to analyze gender stereotypes in selected plays by Tennessee Williams. It deals with the development of these stereotypes throughout the history. The focus is put primarily on the American South since it is the place where the author grew up. The thesis later analyzes gender stereotypes in three William's plays.
