Subjectively Perceived Responsibility of a Primary Teacher for Pupils Results in School

Abstract:

Diplomová práce teoreticko-empirického charakteru se zabývá analýzou subjektivně vnímané odpovědnosti učitele 1. stupně ZŠ za výsledky žáků. Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí. Teoretická část je zaměřena na vymezení terminologie a teoretických východisek z oblastí subjektivně vnímané odpovědnosti učitele, faktorů ji ovlivňujících a proměnných, které ovlivňují výsledky žáků. Kvalitativně orientovaná empirická část má pomocí tematického psaní a polostrukturovaného interview za cíl analyzovat subjektivně vnímanou odpovědnost učitele prvního stupně základní školy za výsledky žáků. Výsledky výzkumu odkryly skutečnost, že učitelé jsou si vědomi své odpovědnosti v různých oblastech, zároveň s jejich přibývajícími zkušenostmi u některých učitelů míra odpovědnosti klesá, u jiných stoupá. V průběhu přibývajícího věku žáků probíhá proces předávání odpovědnosti za výsledky žáků z učitele na žáky.

Abstract:

This theoretical and empirical diploma thesis aims to analyse primary education teacher subjective responsibility for their pupils' results in school. The paper has two parts, the theoretical part defines the boundaries of subjectively perceived responsibility of the teacher; factors which affect it and circumstances that are affecting pupil's results. The goal of the empirical part of this thesis is based on qualitative research using thematic writing and interviews with primary teachers to analyse teacher subjective responsibility. The results revealed that teachers are keenly aware of their responsibility in different areas. At the same time, the more experience they have the extent of their responsibility either rises or descends. Also, the older the children are, the more responsibility the teachers give them.
