Cílem této diplomové práce je navrhnout metodu, kterou lze diagnostikovat srpkovitou anémii z historické DNA. Onemocnění je způsobeno jednonukleotidovým polymorfismem (SNP) v genu pro betaglobinový řetězec hemoglobinu. Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to design an experimental method which will be able to diagnose ancient DNA from sickle cell anemia. The cause of this disease is a single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) in the gene coding betaglobin polypeptidic chain in the blood protein hemoglobin.
