How to deal with stress in the profession of a social worker.

Abstract:

Téma diplomové práce se zabývá zvládáním zátěže sociálního pracovníka pracujícího na Úřadě práce České republiky. Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat techniky pro zvládání zátěže sociálního pracovníka a jejich uplatnění v praxi. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a výzkumnou část. Teoretická část se věnuje tématu sociální práce, postavením a náplní práce sociálního pracovníka na Úřadě práce České republiky, zvládáním zátěže a preventivními opatřeními zvládání zátěže. Výzkumná část se zabývá zjištěním, jaké techniky pomáhají sociálnímu pracovníkovi na Úřadě práce České republiky zvládat jejich práci v souvislosti se zátěží. Pro výzkum byla zvolena kvalitativní výzkumná strategie s uplatněním metody zakotvené teorie. Data pro výzkum byly získány technikou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Následně byla data vyhodnocena a interpretována.

Abstract:

The topic of the diploma thesis deals with managing the workload of a social worker working at the Labour Office of the Czech Republic. The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyse techniques for managing the workload of a social worker and their application in practice. The thesis is divided into theoretical and research part. The theoretical part deals with a topic of social work, the position and scope of work of a social worker at the Labour office of the Czech Republic, dealing with workload and preventive measures of handling workload. The research part deals with the findings what techniques help a social worker on the Labour office of the Czech Republic to manage their work in connection to workload. For the research, a qualitative research strategy with the application of the method of grounded theory was chosen. The data for the research were obtained by the technique of semi-structured interviews. Subsequently the data were evaluated and interpreted.
