Oscillatory properties of perturbations of half-linear Euler differential equations

Abstract:

V této rigorózní práci studujeme oscila\v{c}ní vlastnosti perturbované Eulerovy pololineární diferenciální rovnice $$ \bigl(\Phi(x')\bigr)'+\frac{\gamma_p}{t^p}\Phi(x)=0,\quad \Phi(x):=|x|^{p-2}x,\ \gamma_p:=\left(\frac{p-1}{p}\right)^p. $$ Perturbace je rovn\v{e}\v{z} možná u koeficientu zahrnujícího derivaci. Nejdříve je uvažován jednoduchý případ, kdy perturbace je tvaru $$ \left[\left(1+\frac{\lambda}{\log^2 t}\right)\Phi(x')\right]'+ \left[\frac{\gamma_p}{t^p}+\frac{\mu}{t^p\log^2 t}\right]\Phi(x)=0 $$ a v druhé části je studován obecný případ $$ \left[\left(1+\sum_{j=1}^n \frac{\alpha_j}{\Log_j^2 t}\right)\Phi(x')\right]' +\left[\frac{\gamma_p}{t^p}+\sum_{j=1}^n \frac{\beta_j}{t^p\Log_j^2 t} \right]\Phi(x)=0, $$ kde $ \Log_kt=\prod_{j=1}^k \log_k t,\quad \log_k t=\log_{k-1}(\log t),\ \log_1 t=\log t. $ V obou případech je k vyšetřování rovnic využita metoda transformací tzv. modifikované Riccatiho rovnice.

Abstract:

In this thesis we investigate oscillatory properties of the perturbed half-linear Euler differential equation $$ \bigl(\Phi(x')\bigr)'+\frac{\gamma_p}{t^p}\Phi(x)=0,\quad \Phi(x):=|x|^{p-2}x,\ \gamma_p:=\left(\frac{p-1}{p}\right)^p. $$ A perturbation is also allowed in the coefficient involving derivative. First, we consider a simple case where the perturbation is in the form $$ \left[\left(1+\frac{\lambda}{\log^2 t}\right)\Phi(x')\right]'+ \left[\frac{\gamma_p}{t^p}+\frac{\mu}{t^p\log^2 t}\right]\Phi(x)=0 $$ and in the second part the general case $$ \left[\left(1+\sum_{j=1}^n \frac{\alpha_j}{\Log_j^2 t}\right)\Phi(x')\right]' +\left[\frac{\gamma_p}{t^p}+\sum_{j=1}^n \frac{\beta_j}{t^p\Log_j^2 t} \right]\Phi(x)=0, $$ where $ \Log_kt=\prod_{j=1}^k \log_k t,\quad \log_k t=\log_{k-1}(\log t),\ \log_1 t=\log t, $ is studied. In the both cases the method of transformation of the so-called modified Riccati equation is used.
