Abstract:
Účelem této diplomové práce je odhalit spojení mezi depresí a hudební texty populární hudby 20. a 21. století. Práce popisuje, jak hudbu ovlivnilo sociopolitické pozadí konrétní doby. Dále zkoumá a analyzuje konkrétní texty čtyř hudebních uskupení, a to od Joy Division, Nirvany, Lil Peepa a The 1975. Analýza stojí na čtyřech proměnných. Abstract:
The purpose of this thesis was to uncover the connection between depression and lyrics of popular music artists from the 20th and 21st century. The thesis interpreted socio-political background as one of the influential factors of the theme of depression in popular music.
