Knowledge and training of professional drivers in first aid

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou úrovně vzdělávání profesionálních řidičů a úrovní jejich praktických znalostí v poskytování první pomoci s cílem posoudit stávající stav a popř. navrhnout potřebnou úpravu legislativy. Jedná se o teoreticko-výzkumnou práci aplikovanou do současné praxe vzdělávacího systému školicích středisek akreditovaných ministerstvem dopravy ČR. V teoretické části jsou definovány pojmy: význam a rozdělení první pomoci, základy právní problematiky v první pomoci, základní postupy v poskytování první pomoci, stavy bezprostředně ohrožující život a vzdělávání profesionálních řidičů. Ve výzkumné části je uvedena metodika prováděného výzkumu, postupné vyhodnocení jednotlivých otázek z průzkumného testu a celkový náhled respondentů na tuto problematiku. V závěru je uvedeno zhodnocení systému školení profesionálních řidičů na základě poznatků získaných autorkou při několikaleté praktické výuce v autoškole a školicím středisku Dopravního podniku města Hradce Králové. Výstupem je podání praktického návrhu Ministerstvu dopravy ČR k úpravě osnovy ve školicím středisku, jak v pravidelném opakovacím proškolování, tak ve vstupním školení profesionálních řidičů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with problems concerning the education level of the professional drivers and the standards of their working knowledge of giving the first aid. Its aim is to assess their current state and, if needed, to suggest necessary amendments of the respective legislation. This essay has a theoretical and researching character applied to present educational system in training centres accredited at the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic. The following terms are defined in the theoretical part: the significance and different sorts of the first aid, legal principles concerning the first aid, basic procedures in rendering the first aid, the states immediately endangering life, the education of professional drivers and first aid training. As for the research part the methodology of the research successive evaluation of the individual questions in an inquiry test and the respondents?general view of the matter are presented. The end of the essay brings the evaluation of the training system of professional drivers based on findings gathered by the author during her long-term teaching practice at the driving school and training center of Municipal Public Transport Company of Hradec Kralove. This resulted in propounding a practical recommendation to the Ministry of Transport to adjust the curriculum of the training center in both periodical education and in entrance training of the professional drivers.
