Slitiny na bázi titanu jsou široce používány jako materiály kloubních a zubních náhrad. Na povrchu těchto implantátů se nachází oxidická vrstva TiO2, která v čase koroduje a uvolňují se z ní nanočástice různé velikosti. Abstract:
Titanium-based alloys are widely used as materials for joint and dental implants. The surface of the implants is composed of the oxidic layer of TiO2. This passivation layer corrodes over the time and releases nanoparticles of different size.
