Práce se zabývá důležitou etapou českého amatérského divadla – tzv. rodinným loutkovým divadlem první poloviny 20. století, a to zejména jeho vizuální stránkou. Sumarizuje autorovy poznatky získané dokumentací a studiem autentického materiálu (loutkových divadel, dekorací a loutek) v českých veřejných a soukromých loutkářských sbírkách. Abstract:
The piece of work reminds the important period of the Czech amateur theatre - so-called family puppet theatre of the first half 20th century (notably its visual facet). It summarises the existing author´s knowledge acquired by the documentation and study of authentic material (puppet scenes, sceneries and puppets) in publik and private Czech puppet collections.
