Integral Calculus with CAS Sage

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje využití systému počítačové algebry SageMath ve výuce tématu integrálního počtu funkcí jedné proměnné. V práci se čtenář seznámí s použitím příkazů Sage na konkrétních příkladech tohoto tématu. V rámci práce vzniklo deset výukových materiálů, které jsou veřejně dostupné online, a obsahují teorii, příklady, obrázky, animace a interaktivní applety týkající se učiva integrálního počtu. V neposlední řadě se čtenář seznámí s webovou aplikací CoCalc, ve které jsou tyto výukové materiály vytvořeny. Práce je určená zejména středoškolským učitelům matematiky, kteří chtějí zatraktivnit výuku tohoto tématu svým studentům.

Abstract:

This Master's thesis deals with education of the topic of integral calculus using computer algebra system SageMath. The reader of this thesis will get acquainted with the use of Sage commands on specific problems of this topic. There are ten publicly available Sage worksheets containing theory, problems, images, animations and interactive applets relating to integral calculus curriculum. Last but not least, the reader will be introduced to the CoCalc web application in which Sage worksheets were created. This thesis is especially appropriate for upper secondary school teachers of mathematics who want to make teaching this topic more attractive to their students.
