Transsexuality in Resocialization Context

Abstract:

Studentka se ve své diplomové práci zaměří na problematiku transsexuality. V práci se bude věnovat základním informacím o poruše pohlavní identity, její etiologií, etapám procesu přeměny pohlaví a léčbě. Práce bude zahrnovat lékařské, právní a psychologické aspekty. Studentka bude analyzovat data získaná od transsexuálních osob, kteří již změnu pohlaví podstoupily nebo k tomu směřují. K získání dat použije kvalitativní výzkum za pomoci polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Výzkum bude prováděn metodou případové studie. Cílem bude zjistit, co celý proces přeměny pohlaví obnáší, a jak probíhá resocializace cílové skupiny.

Abstract:

In her diploma thesis, the student will focus on the issue of transsexuality. The work will deal with the basic information about sexual identity disorder, its aetiology, stages of the process of sexual transformation and treatment. The work will include medical, legal and psychological aspects. The student will analyze the data obtained from transsexual persons who have already undergone or are going to change their sex. Qualitative research using semi-structured interviews will be applied to obtain data. The research will be carried out using the case study method. The goal will be to find out what the whole process of gender transformation entails and how the target group is re-socialized.
